Lucy co-wrote two produced feature films: The Secret of Moonacre (2009) and 9th Cloud (2018). She has adapted four novels for the screen, and has several projects for film and TV in development. These include a TV series co-written with Alison Larkin for Zoe Rocha at Little Rock Pictures.
Lucy is currently working with producer Angus Lees on an animated children’s TV series. She also wrote two films for the Norwegian company Evil Doghouse: an action comedy and a dark feminist myth.
As a writer, Lucy has worked with many prestigious directors and production companies, including Tom Harper (War and Peace), Oliver Parker (Jonny English), Julian Jarrald and Andy De Emmony (West is West).

Executive Producer
Lucy executive produced the award-winning short film Just Molly & Me (2018) and Shackled (2012), starring Emilia Clarke and directed by Nour Wazzi.
Lucy has previously worked as a development executive on over two dozen productions with an array of talent including Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron, Penelope Cruz and Juliette Stevenson.

As a writer and producer Lucy has a particular insight into the creative process, which she uses in her academic work, teaching creative writing and running an MA screenwriting module at the University of Portsmouth.
Lucy has also taught on MA courses at Royal Holloway, London College of Communication, University of Westminster and the Screen Arts Institute.
She gives an annual master class in screenwriting at the University of Brighton and the Liverpool Screen School at JMU Liverpool.
Lucy also offers private courses, such as the essential 2-day guide for scripted development.

Public Speaker
Lucy is an experienced public speaker. Many of her talks focus on gender – for example “Harvey Weinstein was my first boss”, for the advertising agency BBH. She was part of a panel discussing gender for the prestigious networking event ‘She Made It’ at The Ivy Club.
Lucy spoke about adaptation at The Hay Literary Festival, and was a panel member at the Women in Television: on screen, off screen leadership conference (led by Dame Oona King).
